Local Stories

Artist Statement: Five Points has seen many iterations over the past centuries. From trails created by Muscogee and Creek Nation, to stagecoach lines when Atlanta was being established to now; an urban hub for gathering and transportation; I wanted to highlight its rich history of an area that was always used as a focal point for gathering. My background is in textiles, so I incorporated elements of weaving and stop motion animation to curate an imagery that highlights its past and present.
