Local Stories

For this project, I want to make people more curious about the Central Library and its offerings. The artwork is divided into 3 storylines. The first video focuses on the outside facade of the building, designed by famed architect and designer Marcel Bureau.

The second animation illustrates the evolution of the interior space into a technological center for the community at large. With this change, the library had to consider how to upgrade while preserving the integrity of Beaure’s design.

Lastly, the third animation finds us in the present. It highlights services that make knowledge and education accessible to all at every level and ability. The last frame ends on the very source of it all, the joys of reading.
